Restarting the Guild
So, we’ve decided to restart creating the game. And the we is really just me, Eric. I’m hoping that with the logistical challenges that comes with creating a project within a structure of a class, we’ll have more freedom (and less stress) in trying to complete the project.
A second thing we’re hoping to do is to more heavily implement an Agile type of development structure. Instead of making long term plans, perhaps just take it step by step. I’m actually writing this at the time of us ending the first sprint, where we’ve managed to rebuild our combat simulation, and allow for adventurers to go on these fights.
For our next sprint, we’re hoping to complete the central game loop and create a nice little end state for the game to reach. That includes putting in new narrative justifications for our quests, and create the basic reactive quest generator.
