BDv0.6 The Toilet
This update we bring toilets and level requirements! It’s the first Blueprint Diner update, and progress was really humming along this period.
Level Requirements
Levels now have this new little tab during the deployment phase where you can see the requirements before you start deploying. These could be minimums for certain objects, but also to create pathways, or to create certain patterns.
Toilets
Toilets can be placed to give customers a place to pee after they’re done eating. It’s necessary to place a toilet to reach full score.
I also don’t know why the gif didn’t export to be the same size. I’ll look into it for next time.
Other Items
Pathfinding was changed so customers don’t scan for new paths every frame. Might lead to customers going to a table that is already occupied.
Tables now keep track of what customers are there, but visuals don’t change
Removed deletion tool, new removal tool to be made for next sprint.
Next Sprint
I’m planning on making our editing tools a little more powerful and intuitive, so focus will be on deleting and placing down items. Please expect new UI, and new placement mechanics.
